Royal Rapchee OTT platform launched in Dubai with record Dh50 million investment

The platform plans to release 100 new songs by the end of 2025, providing unique opportunities for emerging talent

Royal Rapchee Entertainment, a leading private entertainment group, has officially launched its cutting-edge OTT (Over-The-Top) streaming platform, Royal Rapchee, in Dubai. The company, registered in the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED) mainland as Royal Rapchee Visual Recorded Media Distribution LLC, already has a strong foothold in India under Rapchee Originals Media Pvt Ltd.

The platform’s initial rollout covers the UAE and India, with plans to expand into Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka in the next phase. It will then extend to key Middle Eastern markets, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

Royal Rapchee offers three affordable subscription plans: Dh5 per month - Silver Plan, Dh15 per month - Gold Plan and Dh45 per month - Platinum Plan.

Subscribers will gain access to an extensive library of films, dramas, web series, documentaries, and exclusive original content. The platform integrates advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) for personalised content recommendations, high-speed streaming, and offline download capabilities.

Speaking at the launch, founder and managing director Dharam Gupta said, "Royal Rapchee aims not only to provide premium entertainment but also to introduce young talent to a global audience. We are committed to delivering world-class digital content at an affordable price."

The ambitious project has secured a record Dh50 million investment from Royal Cut Investment, a prominent UAE-based investment firm. Special appreciation was extended to Humaid Mohamed Ali Rashed Alkalbani, chairman of Royal Cut Investment, for his support.
