Youths inhaling 'lighter fluid' becomes new cause of Dubai car fires

Dubai - There were three cases reported in the past three months.

Lighter fluid has become a new cause for car fires resulting in three accidents in the past three months, Dubai Police said.
Youngsters, between the age of 14-25, have started this new trend of inhaling lighter fluid, which can spark a fire inside the vehicle, Al Ittihad reported.
These accidents have resulted in severe injuries and burns, Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed, Head of Fire Department at the General Department of Criminal Evidence and Criminology, said.
