Video: Ruler opens Food Carnival in Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah - Showcasing the flavors of old restaurants in the country.
While UAE residents wait for the Dubai Shopping Festival to begin, a food carnival was recently opened in another emirate.
His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, opened on Thursday the RAK Food Carnival at Mina Al Arab.
The Carnival is held in line with the principles of the UAE's Year of Tolerance and showcases the flavors of Ras Al Khaimah's old restaurants, which have become part of the fabric of the local community.
The Carnival, which runs from 4pm until 10pm each day until December 21, plays host to an array of cultural shows, food stalls and entertainment for the whole family.
