The Sindh Police Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Hyder Jamali “taking serious notice of the disorder and vandalism by nominated accused Zulfiqar Mirza and his armed miscreants” at the Darakhshan Police Station on Saturday, has registered another case against former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza, according to a police spokesperson.

The spokesman said the IG had also suspended Station House Officer (SHO) Ghulam Hussain Pirzada for failing to arrange proper security during Mirza’s visit to the police station to record his statement. “The IG has further directed the DIG South to conduct inquiry into the matter and submit a report with immediate effect,” the spokesman added.
