Rohildev N, the 23-year-old founder and CEO of the robotics startup RHLVision Technologies which is incubated at the Startup Village in Cochin, will rub shoulders with the likes of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and IBM’s CEO Virginia Rometty at the biggest and most sought after mobile technology event in the world.
RHL Vision’s ‘Fin’, a wearable smart ring that can turn one’s palm into a gesture interface to control multiple devices, is already creating ripples in the techno- world, thanks to its revolutionary concept and features.
“It’s a big moment for the Team RHL Vision. I hope that the invitation to address the world-class event is also in recognition of the tremendous interest that Fin has generated in the global startup scenario,” said Rohildev.
RHL had also launched a campaign to take Fin into the market on the crowd funding platform Indiegogo with the target of raising $100,000 over 45 days. The young team behind the exciting venture has already raised around $61, 047. Born in a middle class family in Kerala, Rohildev represents the state’s growing tribe of young entrepreneurs who are dreaming big of launching their own companies straight from the college campus.
Team RHL Vision, which comprises his close friends, started off with the exciting touch-less technology and went on to win laurels from around the country and abroad.
RHL was one of the top 15 companies at the TechCrunch CES Hardware Battlefield in Las Vegas and the only Indian startup to be selected for the Pioneers Festival in Austria. It was also the second runner-up at the Microsoft BizSpark India Startup Challenge 2013.
