The US State Department issued a travel advisory for its citizen staying or traveling to India to observe increased caution.
Dated March 8, the advisory asked its citizens to not travel to the state of Jammu and Kashmir due to terrorism and civil unrest.
They should not travel within 10km of the India-Pakistan border due to the potential for armed conflict.
The advisory has been issued in the light of the suicide bombing in Pulwama district of Kashmir, killing over 40 CRPF personnels.
Check the detailed advisory on their official website.
