UAE leaders offer condolences to Al Sisi on beheadings

Shaikh Khalifa expressed his condolences to the Egyptian leadership, its people, and the families of the victims.

The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent a cable of condolences to the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, where he strongly condemned the ugly crimes of mass murder that were committed by the terrorist organisation, Daesh, against 21 Egyptian citizens in Libya.

Shaikh Khalifa also stressed the UAE’s solidarity and full cooperation with Egypt, and said that the UAE will mobilise all its means in support of Egypt’s efforts in the fight against terrorism and violence until it is defeated and eradicated.

Shaikh Khalifa said, “We are with you and by your side in any steps and measures you take to eradicate terrorism, and all terrorist organisations.”

Shaikh Khalifa went on to assert, “This barbaric and heinous crime strengthens our will and resolve, and reinforces our cooperation with our allies in facing the threats of the criminal organisation, Daesh, in Libya, and weeding them out of the whole region.”

Shaikh Khalifa expressed his condolences to the Egyptian leadership, its people, and the families of the victims.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent a similar cable to President Al Sisi.

General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent a cable of condolences to the Egyptian President.
