UAE diplomat meets BJP chief, discusses ‘Make in India’ initiative

New Delhi — Saeed Mohammed Al Muhairi, the Acting Charge d’Affaires at the UAE Embassy in New Delhi, met Bharatiya Janata Party chief, Amit Shah, at his residence in New Delhi.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to support the ‘Make in India’ initiative, launched by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They also tackled the conditions of Indian labourers in the UAE as well as the appropriate medical and accommodation facilities provided for them.

Al Muhairi emphasised that the UAE government and its partners provide the best possible facilities for Indian labourers in the UAE and briefed him on the upcoming UAE Consulate in Kerala that is to open soon. Shah hailed the UAE’s continuous support and cooperation, pointing out the importance of the Indian government’s full support to all UAE companies to visit India.
