Islamabad - An anti-terrorism court in Karachi on Friday indicted two suspects in a case relating to the murder of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid Hussain.

Kaleem, the key suspect in the case, as well as another suspect Irfan alias ‘lamba’ were produced in court on Friday.

The court indicted the two accused and directed the prosecution to produce all witnesses in the case at its upcoming hearing on June 1.

Both suspects have pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against them.

Rashid alias ‘Master’ and Zahid Abbas Zaidi are also among suspects previously indicted in the case.

Vice-President of the PTI’s Sindh chapter Zahra Shahid Hussain was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen outside her residence in the city’s Defence Housing Authority Phase-IV in May 2013.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan had accused Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain for Zahra’s killing.
