Two held for preparing fake certificates

MUSCAT - Police in Oman have taken into custody two Asian men in Ruwi on charges of making and selling fake medical certificates and documents.

The first accused, identified as A. B. B., was arrested as he was handing over a forged medical report to a ‘client’. Z.A.G., the second culprit, who was booked for his complicity in the crime. Police discovered a computer, fake seals and other accessories used for forging documents from their premises. A Royal Oman Police spokesman said the duo had been conducting fake medical tests for expatriates coming to the sultanate to work.
