Suicide attack on Rangers vehicle in Pakistan

The suicide bomber was reportedly not close to his target when he detonated the explosives.

A Rangers wing commander escaped a suicide attack in Karachi when his vehicle was targeted in a in the Korangi C. area of Karachi on Friday. The officer was travelling from Sea View on to Korangi Road when the incident occurred.

The suicide bomber was reportedly not close to his target when he detonated the explosives.

The Rangers vehicle was damaged but it could not be verified immediately if anyone was injured in the attack.

Police said body parts — believed to be of the suicide bomber — were found near the site of the blast.
