The Sindh government on Thursday decided to set up a special cell for registration of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Waziristan.
The move has come in the wake of arrival of large number of people from tribal ares to Sindh cities to avoid fighting between Taleban militants and government troops.
Provincial minister Dr Sikandar Mendhro said that the cell would be established in five cities of the province, including Jacobabad, Ghotki, Kandhkot and Qambar.
“Personnel of police, Board of Revenue and sensitive agencies will be members of the cell,” he added. — Online
