Saudi proposes Riyadh talks on Iraq crisis

Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah invited Iraq’s political parties to attend talks in the kingdom to overcome political gridlock since inconclusive elections, SPA said.

The talks would be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh after the annual pilgrimage haj ending in mid-November, state news agency SPA said.

Iraq has no government as the political parties failed to agree on forming a government after the election in March.
