A two-member bench of the court comprising of Chief Justice Anwar Kansi and Justice Shaukat Siddiqui resumed the hearing on the intra-court appeal.

In his plea the applicant had pleaded that the notification regarding the formation of a special court should be cancelled as it was not in accordance with the constitution and law of Pakistan.

During the hearing, Justice Siddiqui said the decision of holding Musharraf’s trial was taken by the government, and that the person on trial had himself not objected to the move.

The court reserved its judgment over the intra-court appeal after the completion of arguments, without giving any time for the announcement of the verdict.
