Reject mercy pleas of Peshawar school attackers, PM asks president

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has advised President Mamnoon Hussain to reject the mercy petitions of four convicted terrorists of by Tehreek-i-Taleban Pakistan involved in the December 16, 2014 attack on Peshawar's Army Public School.
The terrorists were sentenced to death by military courts.
While performing his constitutional obligation under Article 105 of the Constitution, the prime minister said Pakistan has changed after the Peshawar tragedy. The brutal and merciless killing of our children convinced us that the perpetrators of such crimes do not deserve any mercy, he added.
Meanwhile, addressing a gathering of people affected by the October 26 earthquake in Dir Bala (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Prime Minister Sharif promised to rehabilitate the families who suffered damages in life and property within next few weeks before winter becomes severe.
