Rape of six-year-old girl in Bengaluru school sparks outrage

A six-year-old girl at a prominent school in Bengaluru was raped allegedly by a teacher, police said on Thursday.

A large group of parents protested outside Vibgyor High School demanding that its management take responsibility for their children’s safety.

The incident took place on July 2 but was reported to police after a medical examination of girl some days ago.

Two school staffers have been detained for the crime.
