Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) refused on Friday to attend former president Asif Ali Zardari’s Iftar-dinner.
According to Senator Farhatullah Babar, there has been no contact between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Zardari about the dinner.
Zardari had invited political leaders of the country for a dinner after he held a much talked about press conference in which he criticised the Pakistan Army and the government.
