There is no dictatorship in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf but a mafia has taken over its administration and isolated the rank and file from the leadership, said Justice (retired) Wajihuddin Ahmad.
Talking to reporters in Lahore, the dissident PTI leader spelled out seven demands including formation of a task force to implement decisions by the PTI election tribunal and the standing committee on accountability and discipline. He also insisted on the formation of an accountability commission; all central and provincial office bearers should be de-notified and made ineligible for intra-party elections along with the formation of interim central and provincial set-ups.
Earlier reports had said that Wajihuddin would forge a group of 'ideological workers' of the PTI.
Another senior party leader advocate Hamid Khan who was also making identical public statements, has stepped back after Imran's warning.
Having recently been suspended from the party by Chairman Imran Khan for being vocal on internal matters of the party and publicly demanding expulsion of several top party leaders including Jehangir Tareen, Pervez Khattak and others.
Justice Wajihuddin Ahmad has been talking of initiating a campaign for reforming the party. He denied rumours of forming a bloc within the party.
