Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said the party is confident of gathering at least one million people for the ‘Independence March’ in Islamabad on August 14.
He said this while addressing his party’s regional, divisional and local office-bearers at a hotel in Sahiwal on Sunday.
Qureshi reiterated that the PTI would lay the foundation of a new Pakistan.
He said the PTI would not give ticket to any landlord, feudal and industrialist.
It is learnt that the PTI has formed committee and sub-committees to mobilise people, particularly youth and women, to participate in the march.
Criticising the PML-N and PPP, Qureshi said both parties appeared to be private limited companies where the leadership was transferred to the next generation.
