Oman’s Support for Palestinian Cause Lauded
MUSCAT - Chief Palestinian Negotiator, Dr Saeb Erekat, who is visiting the Sultanate expressed the gratitude of his people to Oman for its constant support to the Palestinian cause.
Erekat affirmed that the Sultanate under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has been making great efforts to build communication channels to achieve reconciliation among all Palestinian parties, including Hamas.

It may be noted that an Arab delegation led by the Sultanate of Oman has arrived in Rafah on its way to Gaza to urge the Palestinian factions to reconcile with each other. The delegation comprises 22 members representing 14 Arab countries.
Salim bin Ali Al Kaabi, head of the delegation, will emphasise the importance of unity among Palestinians as the sole means of liberation from occupation.
