London’s Metropolitan Police has extended bail for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in relation to his money laundering case till December.
The MQM leader had initially been expected to appear for a police interview by July 31 after his bail had expired.
Altaf appealed to his supporters to stay calm while the court proceedings are under way.
The MQM leader was arrested on June 3 after months of investigation by the British authorities into a money laundering case. However, by June 7 he was released on bail.
