Yemen's Sanaa Airport will return to operations starting Wednesday, May 14, an airport official said on X.

Yemen's international airport was "completely destroyed" in Israeli air strikes on Sanaa on Tuesday, May 6.

The airport had suspended all flights after the attack, its director said the next day.

Israel had earlier warned people to leave the area around Sanaa International Airport, one day after Israeli forces carried out airstrikes on Hodeidah port in Yemen in response to a Houthi missile landing near Israel's main air hub on Sunday.
