On Saturday, operations at the Dubai Airport, the world’s busiest for international travel, were suspended briefly before resuming services shortly.
Dubai authorities back then confirmed that they responded to a minor incident that resulted from shrapnel falling following a successful interception, while denying reports circulating on social media about an incident at DXB. No injuries were reported, they said.
