A 31-year-old man broke into the house of a stranger for eating toast.
Christopher David Lloyd broke into a house in Whitehaven, Cumbria which was 14 miles away from his own home. He used a ladder and broke the window to get into the house. He also damaged the carpet in Daniel Bird's property.
According to Metro, he made himself a toast and then took some sweets as a desert.
Lloyd, who works as a delivery driver, has apologised and said that he was 'absolutely mortified'
"He drank far too much and can't remember the rest. He obviously thought it was his house, he was locked out and tried to get in," Mike Pope, defending Lloyd said.
