The epicentre of the quake was about 200 kilometres from Jayapura

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck the eastern Indonesian province of Papua on Thursday, the US Geological Survey said, with no tsunami warning and no immediate reports of damage.
The epicentre of the quake, which struck around 2.48pm local time (0548 GMT), was about 200 kilometres (125 miles) from Jayapura, at a depth of 35 kilometres, the USGS said.
