Magnitude 5.5 earthquake strikes east coast of Kamchatka, Russia

An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 struck near the east coast of Russia's Kamchatka region on Sunday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.

The quake was at a depth of 51 KM (31.69 miles), it added.
