Karachiites told to carry CNICs at all times
The Rangers paramilitary force has warned citizens to keep their Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) with them at all times to avoid arrests.
A spokesman for Rangers said in a statement issued in Karachi that any person failing to produce his identity card on demand will be arrested. Photocopy of the CNIC would not be acceptable, he added. He said that the law enforcement agencies were working day and night to eradicate terrorism and crime from the metropolis.
