Not many on Twitter were aware of the feeding pattern of flamingoes until an intriguing video showing a pair of the long-legged birds feeding their baby was shared.
The video left Twitter users stunned as it appears at first glance the two birds are fighting and one them appears to be bleeding from its head. The video was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, Parveen Kaswan, and has since amassed several awe-struck comments on Twitter, reported HT.
Kaswan explained in a caption that read: "No they are not fighting. Parent flamingos produce crop milk in their digestive tracts and regurgitate it to feed young ones. See how together they are doing it. Source: Science Channel".
The video has been retweeted over 5,000 times and collected over 15,000 likes in a day.
