Florida Police have arrested the husband of a 26-year-old nurse from Kerala, India, for stabbing her to death on Tuesday morning in the parking lot of the hospital where she worked.

According to reports in Local10.com, the victim who was identified as Merin Joy, worked at Broward Health Coral Springs in South Florida, US. She was rushed to hospital after she was stabbed multiple times, but she did not survive.
The police took into custody Joy's husband, 34-year-old Philip Mathew, of Wixon, Michigan, from a hotel in Coral Springs. Mathew was found to have a self-inflicted knife wound and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police suspect that Mathew stabbed his wife out of domestic dispute between the couple. He is being charged with first degree murder.
