Saudi authorities have arrested an expat for engaging in "indecent acts" at a relaxation and body care (massage) centre.

Legal procedures were then initiated against him, authorities said.

The arrest was carried out by Riyadh Police, in coordination with the General Directorate of Community Security and Combating Human Trafficking.

Authorities said he engaged in acts that were contrary to public morals.

The expat was referred to the Public Prosecution. In addition, the centre was penalised according to the municipality's regulations.
