Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Qatar join Trump's Gaza board

Eight nations — UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Qatar — have accepted invitations to join US President Donald Trump's 'Board of Peace' for Gaza, their foreign ministers said in a joint statement on Wednesday.
The ministers announced that each state will sign the joining documents in accordance with its relevant legal procedures and other necessary measures, including Egypt, Pakistan, and the UAE, which had previously announced their acceptance.
The ministers reaffirmed their countries' support for the peace efforts led by Trump and their commitment to supporting the implementation of the peace council's mandate as a transitional body, as stipulated in the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza and as adopted by United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2803.

The Ministers reiterated their countries’ support for the peace efforts led by Trump, and reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to supporting the implementation of the mission of the Board of Peace as a transitional administration, as set out in the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict and endorsed by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.
This mandate aims to consolidate a permanent ceasefire, support the reconstruction of Gaza, and advance a just and lasting peace grounded in the Palestinian right to self-determination and statehood in accordance with international law, thereby paving the way for security and stability for all countries and peoples of the region.
