This step provides an opportunity for visitors to Qatar from GCC countries to attend more sports, cultural and entertainment events in the nation

Qatar today announced that visit visas for GCC residents will be extended from one month to two months and will be able to obtain a multiple-entry permit.
This announcement came in a statement issued by Qatar Tourism, which said that the updates will be introduced tomorrow, Sunday, November 30, through the Haya platform.
This step comes to provide an opportunity for visitors to Qatar from the GCC countries to attend more sports, cultural and entertainment events in the nation seamlessly — especially after the Fifa World Cup 2025.
The Haya system also continues its support for the Arab Cup 2025 tournament in facilitating the attraction of visitors and fans from citizens and residents of the GCC countries.

The platform provides a unified digital system for submitting electronic visa applications and managing the event entry experience, making it easier for visitors to plan their trips.
The platform offers five types of electronic visas, including a tourist visa (A1), a visa for GCC residents (A2), an electronic travel notification visa (A3), a visa for visitors accompanying GCC citizens (A4), and a visa waiver application for US citizens (F1).
