Qatar foils 10 drones, 2 cruise missile attacks from Iran Wednesday morning

The Ministry of Defence announced that at dawn on Wednesday, Qatar was attacked by 10 drones and 2 cruise missiles from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Qatar Emiri Air Defence Forces intercepted 6 drones, Qatar Emiri Air Force intercepted 2 drones and 2 cruise missiles, and Qatar Emiri Navy Forces intercepted the remaining 2 drones.

The Ministry emphasises that the Qatar Armed Forces possess the full capabilities and resources to safeguard the state's sovereignty and territory and to respond firmly to any external threat.
The Ministry urges citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, follow official instructions from security authorities, avoid rumours, and rely only on information from official channels.
Iran had launched multiple retaliatory attacks on Qatar and other Gulf Arab states since the US and Israel began joint strikes on Iran on Saturday. Iran says it is targeting US assets in the region with its attacks, but civilian infrastructure, including airports and hotels, has also been hit.
Dozens of explosions have been reported in Qatar over the past few days, and its Ministry of Defence said late on Tuesday that Iran launched two missiles towards its territory, with one targeting U.S.-run Al Udeid air base with no reported human loss.
Late on Tuesday, state security apparatus said it has arrested two cells affiliated with the Iranian revolutionary guards in the country.
