Oman: Search underway for missing person after gas explosion in commercial building

A gas explosion took place in a commercial building in Qurayyat, Oman, authorities said.

The momentary explosion also had an impact in a neighbouring building. Rescue teams from Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in Muscat are dealing with the incident.

The explosion resulted in a number of injuries, ranging from moderate to minor. A person is missing under the rubble; search is underway, authorities said.
