Four people were killed after a bus carrying children crashed in Oman, the Sultanate's police announced on Wednesday, July 2.
The tragic incident took place when a bus rolled over after colliding with a stationary object in Al-Rusaiss area of the Izki Governorate.
The bus driver along with three children have died in the accident, according to preliminary information during the investigation. Meanwhile, 12 children are said to have sustained various injuries.

Last year, nine students died in Oman's flash floods after vehicles washed away in heavy waters. During that period, at least 21 people were confirmed to have died in the torrential rains.
Meanwhile, in July of 2024, nine people were killed, including one police officer and three gunmen, in a shooting near a mosque in Oman's capital Muscat.
