In a move aimed at protecting delivery workers from the searing summer heat, Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has announced a temporary ban on consumer delivery motorcycles during peak daytime hours.

Starting June 1, 2025, and continuing until the end of August, motorcycles operated by delivery companies will be prohibited from operating between 11am and 4pm across all roads and regions in Kuwait.

The decision was shared through the Ministry’s official X account on Friday.
