On the last day of Ramadan, rains fell upon worshippers in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, creating a serendipitous and peaceful atmosphere at the holy site.

Yesterday, Saudi Arabia announced that since the Shawwal crescent had not been sighted, Eid Al Fitr would begin on Friday, March 20 — thus marking Thursday, March 19, as the last day of Ramadan 2026.
