The embassy affirmed that no changes had been made to its staffing levels after the US administration's decision

The US' embassy in Kuwait on Wednesday stated that it was continuing operations normally after the US announced that it would partially evacuate its embassies located in Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq.
American sources further added that they would allow military dependents to leave locations around the Middle East due to "heightened security risks in the region".
Kuwait's US embassy affirmed that no changes had been made to its staffing levels after the US administration's decision.
"This statement by the embassy comes after an announcement by the US administration regarding a reduction in the size of its diplomatic mission in Iraq. US President Donald Trump is committed to the safety of American citizens and regularly assesses conditions at all US embassy missions, so a decision was made to reduce the mission in Iraq," the statement added.
