Kuwait recalls more batches of baby formula products on contamination concerns

Kuwait on Friday announced that it is withdrawing more batches of baby formula manufactured by Danone Nutricia, on suspicion that they may be contaminated with a substance called cereulide.
This comes on the heels of a similar announcement made in Saudi Arabia, as it issued a warning about several baby formula products from Nutricia-Danone, specifically the Aptamil and Bebelac brands.

Consumers are advised to check the batch number printed on their product packaging and to stop using it immediately if the number matches any of those listed. They are also urged to follow updates and instructions issued through the authority's official channels.
