Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has denied reports regarding penalties for holding gatherings during Ramadan without a permit.

The reports, which circulated on some social media platforms, falsely claimed penalties of 1,000 Kuwaiti dinars and a jail sentence of 6 months.

The Kuwaiti ministry clarified that this information is completely false. The authority added that it "has not issued any statement or decision on this matter."
