Srinagar: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has implemented the second phase of its relief programme for those affected by the recent floods in Kashmir.
The programme is being conducted in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in New Delhi and the Indian Red Cross Society.
Deputy Secretary-General for International Aid at ERC Humaid Al-Shamsi said the distribution of relief materials to flood victims in Kashmir is part of ERC’s relief programme, which is overseen by the UAE Embassy in New Delhi.
The first phase of the programme had received a warm welcome from those affected by the floods in the area.
