Earthquake of magnitude 6.4 strikes off Greece, felt in Egypt

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck off Greece on Wednesday, the UAE's National Centre of Meteorology said.

The shake was recorded at 2.51am UAE time at a depth of 45.4 km, it added.

Many in Egypt also felt the quake with the country's National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics reporting no casualties or property damage.

The institute said it recorded a quake of 6.4 magnitude 431 km off Egypt's northern coasts.
