A road show is currently touring different universities and colleges, explaining guidelines for the competition, activities of Dar Al Atta’a and the importance of charity in general.

“College is a critical age for the future generation to think about how they can give back to the community and to recognise that everyone has a responsibility in improving the lives of those less fortunate,” Dar Al Atta’a Chairwoman Maryam Al Zadjali pointed out.

“We can all make a difference in the lives of others by volunteering our time and effort,” she said, adding the objective of the road show was to explain to as many students as possible about charity in general.

The winners, decided by a panel of judges based on the best fundraising idea, the best project management and implementation and the most funds raised, will be presented with their prizes at a ceremony at the end of the semester. All funds raised will go to Dar Al Atta’a Outreach Programme that the participating students select.
