In cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has  launched the official logo for Bahraini Women’s Day 2015.

Each year, the Bahraini Women’s Day, held under the patronage of Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King, and the President of the Supreme Council for Women, recognises Bahraini women’s achievements in a particular sector.

This year it celebrates the contributions of Bahraini women under the theme: “Women in the financial and banking sector.”

The logo was circulated to all financial and banking institutions licensed by the CBB as the industry launches a series of events promoting the role of women in the sector and their development.

This includes a series of mentoring programmes leading up to a main conference on “Women in banking and finance” on November 30, which will be held ahead of the annual Bahraini Women’s Day on  December 1.  In support of these events, the CBB renewed its invitation to all financial and banking institutions to support the campaign.
