Awan takes a dig at Aitzaz

ISLAMABAD — Disgraced former law minister Babar Awan has blamed the people responsible for advising Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani not to appeal against the conviction in the contempt of court case for PM’s predicament.

“They would soon be exposed,” Awan told reporters outside Islamabad High Court.

In an apparent jibe at his arch rival Aitzaz Ahsan, Babar Awan said after the court’s ruling, nobody would forget the lawyer who charged Rs100 as fee from Gilani. “With this amount it is only possible to purchase petrol to reach the Adiala Jail,” he taunted.
