The Philippine authority said that the 'first tsunami waves are expected to arrive between 1.20pm to 2.40pm (PST)'

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has issued a tsunami advisory, stating that coastal areas in the Philippines facing the Pacific Ocean are expected to experience a tsunami wave height of less than one metre, on July 30.
This comes after a massive quake struck east Russia on Wednesday. The Philippine authority said that the "first tsunami waves are expected to arrive between 1.20pm to 2.40pm (PST)". The authority added that the waves "may not be the largest" and they "may continue for hours".
Those in the areas listed below have been urged to "stay away from the beach" and avoid going to the coast, in the same advisory.

The authority also urged those who live close to the shore to move further inland. It added, "owners of boats in harbours, estuaries or shallow coastal water of the above-mentioned provinces should secure their boats and move away from the waterfront".
"Boats already at sea during this period should stay offshore in deep waters until further advised."
