A total of 827 Indians have been evacuated so far as part of 'Operation Sindhu'
As the Israel-Iran conflict enters its ninth day, India has lent a helping hand to help evacuate Nepali and Sri Lankan citizens from Iran.
In a humanitarian gesture, India has extended its ongoing evacuation efforts in Iran to include citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka. This move comes following formal requests from the governments of Nepal and Sri Lanka, according to a statement released by the Indian Embassy in Tehran.
Indian officials have confirmed that arrangements are being made to assist Nepali and Sri Lankan nationals stranded in Iran amid the ongoing conflict in the region.

"The citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka may urgently reach out to the Embassy, either on the Telegram channel or over the emergency contact numbers. +989010144557; +989128109115; +989128109109," the mission said.
Meanwhile, India's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said another evacuation flight from Mashhad landed in New Delhi at 4.30pm (3pm UAE time) on Saturday, with 310 Indian nationals from Iran.
With this, a total of 827 Indians have been evacuated as part of 'Operation Sindhu.'
