Israel-Iran clash: Pakistan PM expresses 'unwavering solidarity' with Tehran

As the conflict between Israel and Iran rages on, Pakistan has expressed its "unwavering solidarity" with Iran in the face of Israel’s "unprovoked aggression."

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who spoke to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian over phone on Saturday, said: "Pakistan strongly condemns the violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity — an affront to international law & the UN Charter. Iran has every right to self-defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter.
