India's home minister said that Indian forces killed all three terrorists behind the April 22 Pahalgam attack on tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir.
On Monday, the Indian army announced killing three men after an intense firefight, but it was not clear if they were the one involved in the attack that triggered a war between the two nuclear nations.
The terror attack resulted in 26 deaths and around 20 injuries, making it the deadliest mass-casualty incident targeting civilians in the Kashmir region in recent years

The incident has drawn international condemnation, with UAE expressing its strong rejection of these criminal acts. Indian airlines have announced additional flights after the incident.
A little-known militant group, the "Kashmir Resistance," claimed responsibility for the attack in a social media message. It expressed discontent that more than 85,000 "outsiders" had been settled in the region, spurring a "demographic change".
