IndiGo said it cancelled 110 flights across its network due to disruptions caused by bad weather

Flight operations on Tuesday were impacted at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport after severe fog caused low visibility conditions. Airport officials said that 49 departures and 77 arrivals were cancelled due to poor visibility.
The Delhi Airport sent out a fog alert at 6am IST, informing passngers that flight operations are recovering, but disruptions may continue for certain departures and arrivals.

"As winter sets in, early mornings across Northern India can bring fog that may occasionally slow down flight movements. We wanted to share this gentle heads-up in advance, so you can plan with ease and check your flight status before heading to the airport," IndiGo said in post early on Tuesday.
"Please be assured that our teams are well prepared and closely monitoring weather conditions. Wherever possible, we are making thoughtful adjustments on the ground to reduce inconvenience and ensure any waiting time is as comfortable as possible," they added.
The Indian capital continued to struggle with deteriorating air quality on Tuesday, with the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 378 around 8am IST. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), this places Delhi in the 'very poor' category, raising health concerns for residents across the city.
